SAP and Open Text will further expand
their existing relationship in order to offer enterprise customers Open Text’s digital asset management service expanddigitalassetmanagementopentext.png through SAP, the companies announced today.
"By providing a robust and well-proven DAM solution with the marketing capabilities of SAP CRM, we can help customers deploy a flexible, efficient infrastructure marketers need to achieve more with less, and succeed in the evolving digital media landscape," said Susan Popper, SAP senior vice president for marketing communications.
The relationship has previously helped Open Text and SAP to excel in their particular fields, and the two companies have been partners at various levels for "over 20 years," SAP said. Open Text is the sole electronic content management vendor whose products are resold by SAP, and the companies said that their expanded cooperation would allow for new levels of standardization for marketers.
CMSWire reported that "since Open Text DAM will be sold in conjunction with SAP CRM, SAP Digital Asset Management should be able to support the entire marketing process from planning, developing content, execution and results measurement."
